Acts 7
| But he that did his
neighbour wrong thrust him away, saying, Who
made thee a ruler and a judge over us? |
| Wilt thou kill me, as thou
diddest the Egyptian yesterday? |
| Then fled Moses at this
saying, and was a stranger in the land of Madian,
where he begat two sons. |
| And when forty years were
expired, there appeared to him in the wilderness
of mount Sina an angel of the Lord in a flame of
fire in a bush. |
| When Moses saw it, he
wondered at the sight: and as he drew near to
behold it, the voice of the Lord came unto him, |
| Saying, I am the God of thy
fathers, the God of Abraham, and the God of
Isaac, and the God of Jacob. Then Moses
trembled, and durst not behold. |
| Then said the Lord to him,
Put off thy shoes from thy feet: for the place
where thou standest is holy ground. |
| I have seen, I have seen
the affliction of my people which is in Egypt,
and I have heard their groaning, and am come
down to deliver them. And now come, I will send
thee into Egypt. |
| This Moses whom they
refused, saying, Who made thee a ruler and a
judge? the same did God send to be a ruler and a
deliverer by the hand of the angel which
appeared to him in the bush. |
| He brought them out, after
that he had showed wonders and signs in the land
of Egypt, and in the Red sea, and in the
wilderness forty years. |
| This is that Moses, which
said unto the children of Israel, A prophet
shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of
your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear. |

Deuteronomy 18
| When thou art come into the
land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou
shalt not learn to do after the abominations of
those nations. |
| There shall not be found
among you any one that maketh his son or his
daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth
divination, or an observer of times, or an
enchanter, or a witch, |
| Or a charmer, or a
consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or
a necromancer. |
| For all that do these
things are an abomination unto the LORD: and
because of these abominations the LORD thy God
doth drive them out from before thee. |
| Thou shalt be perfect with
the LORD thy God. |
| For these nations, which
thou shalt possess, hearkened unto observers of
times, and unto diviners: but as for thee, the
LORD thy God hath not suffered thee so to do. |
| The LORD thy God will raise
up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee,
of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall
hearken; |
| According to all that thou
desiredst of the LORD thy God in Horeb in the
day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear
again the voice of the LORD my God, neither let
me see this great fire any more, that I die not. |
| And the LORD said unto me,
They have well spoken that which they have
spoken. |
| I will raise them up a
Prophet from among their brethren, like unto
thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he
shall speak unto them all that I shall command
him. |

Revelation 22
| And he said unto me, These
sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God
of the holy prophets sent his angel to show unto
his servants the things which must shortly be
done. |
| Behold, I come quickly:
blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the
prophecy of this book. |
| And I John saw these
things, and heard them. And when I had heard and
seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of
the angel which showed me these things. |
| Then saith he unto me, See
thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and
of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which
keep the sayings of this book: worship God. |
| And he saith unto me, Seal
not the sayings of the prophecy of this book:
for the time is at hand. |
| He that is unjust, let him
be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him
be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let
him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let
him be holy still. |
| And, behold, I come
quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every
man according as his work shall be. |
| I am Alpha and Omega, the
beginning and the end, the first and the last. |
| Blessed are they that do
his commandments, that they may have right to
the tree of life, and may enter in through the
gates into the city. |
Rev 22:6-14 |
Acts 13
| For they that dwell at
Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew
him not, nor yet the voices of the prophets
which are read every sabbath day, they have
fulfilled them in condemning him. |
Acts 13:27 |
Ephesians 4
| I therefore, the prisoner
of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of
the vocation wherewith ye are called, |
| With all lowliness and
meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one
another in love; |
| Endeavouring to keep the
unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. |
| There is one body, and one
Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of
your calling; |
| One Lord, one faith, one
baptism, |
| One God and Father of all,
who is above all, and through all, and in you
all. |
| But unto every one of us is
given grace according to the measure of the gift
of Christ. |
| Wherefore he saith, When he
ascended up on high, he led captivity captive,
and gave gifts unto men. |
| (Now that he ascended, what
is it but that he also descended first into the
lower parts of the earth? |
| He that descended is the
same also that ascended up far above all
heavens, that he might fill all things.) |
| And he gave some, apostles;
and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and
some, pastors and teachers; |
| For the perfecting of the
saints, for the work of the ministry, for the
edifying of the body of Christ: |
| Till we all come in the
unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the
Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure
of the stature of the fulness of Christ: |
| That we henceforth be no
more children, tossed to and fro, and carried
about with every wind of doctrine, by the
sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby
they lie in wait to deceive; |
| But speaking the truth in
love, may grow up into him in all things, which
is the head, even Christ: |
| From whom the whole body
fitly joined together and compacted by that
which every joint supplieth, according to the
effectual working in the measure of every part,
maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of
itself in love. |
Eph 4:1-16 |
Zechariah 8
| Thus saith the LORD of
hosts; Let your hands be strong, ye that hear in
these days these words by the mouth of the
prophets, which were in the day that the
foundation of the house of the LORD of hosts was
laid, that the temple might be built. |
| For before these days there
was no hire for man, nor any hire for beast;
neither was there any peace to him that went out
or came in because of the affliction: for I set
all men every one against his neighbour. |
