Exodus 10
| But the LORD hardened
Pharaoh's heart, and he would not let them go. |
| And Pharaoh said unto him,
Get thee from me, take heed to thyself, see my
face no more; for in that day thou seest my face
thou shalt die. |
| And Moses said, Thou hast
spoken well, I will see thy face again no more. |

Exodus 11
| And Moses said, Thus saith
the LORD, About midnight will I go out into the
midst of Egypt: |
| And all the firstborn in
the land of Egypt shall die, from the firstborn
of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even
unto the firstborn of the maidservant that is
behind the mill; and all the firstborn of
beasts. |
| And there shall be a great
cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as
there was none like it, nor shall be like it any
more. |
| But against any of the
children of Israel shall not a dog move his
tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know
how that the LORD doth put a difference between
the Egyptians and Israel. |
| And all these thy servants
shall come down unto me, and bow down themselves
unto me, saying, Get thee out, and all the
people that follow thee: and after that I will
go out. And he went out from Pharaoh in a great
anger. |
| And the LORD said unto
Moses, Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you; that
my wonders may be multiplied in the land of
Egypt. |
| And Moses and Aaron did
all these wonders before Pharaoh: and the LORD
hardened Pharaoh's heart, so that he would not
let the children of Israel go out of his land. |

Isaiah 57
| The righteous
perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart:
and merciful men are taken away, none
considering that the righteous is taken away
from the evil to come. |
| He shall enter into
peace: they shall rest in their beds, each
one walking in his uprightness. |
| But draw near hither,
ye sons of the sorceress, the seed of the
adulterer and the whore. |
| Against whom do ye
sport yourselves? against whom make ye a
wide mouth, and draw out the tongue? are ye
not children of transgression, a seed of
falsehood, |
| Enflaming yourselves
with idols under every green tree, slaying
the children in the valleys under the clifts
of the rocks? |
| Among the smooth
stones of the stream is thy portion; they,
they are thy lot: even to them hast thou
poured a drink offering, thou hast offered a
meat offering. Should I receive comfort in
these? |
| Upon a lofty and high
mountain hast thou set thy bed: even thither
wentest thou up to offer sacrifice. |
| Behind the doors also
and the posts hast thou set up thy
remembrance: for thou hast discovered
thyself to another than me, and art gone up;
thou hast enlarged thy bed, and made thee a
covenant with them; thou lovedst their bed
where thou sawest it. |
| And thou wentest to
the king with ointment, and didst increase
thy perfumes, and didst send thy messengers
far off, and didst debase thyself even unto
hell. |
